Forehead lift (brow lift) |

Forehead lifting corrects lose and wrinkled skin that has lost its elasticity and creates "bags" under the eyes. It also softens the deep lines across the forehead. It lessens the horizontal expression lines by the nose and the vertical ones in the eyebrows. The result is a more relaxed and "fresh" appearance.

In a classic forehead-lift, the incision (that is here shown with the dotted line) is usually done on the upper part of the scalp, slightly before or sometimes right on the hairline. In other cases some people may be good candidates for endoscopic lifting of the forehead, which requires several tiny incisions (that are shown here with the little circles) on the hairline or deeper in. The number of the incisions as well as their placing may vary depending on the case. |

The forehead skin is softly pulled upwards, and the excess skin removed. The doctor may, if needed, make changes to some of the face muscles. |
